// Infos // Nakba-AusstellungExhibition: "The Nakba – Flight and Expulsion of the Palestinians in 1948"In 2008, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of both the Nakba, the flight and expulsion of the Palestinans in 1948, and the creation of the state of Israel, the organisation Flüchtlingskinder im Libanon e.V. decided to prepare a travelling exhibition and an accompanying exhibition catalogue on this topic. The exhibition has since been shown in more than 140 different locations, in particular in Germany, but also in Switzerland, Austria, France, Luxembourg, England and the United States of America. Tens of thousands of visitors have seen the exhibition, and more than 14,000 copies of the exhibition catalogue have been sold. A French language version of the exhibition was prepared in June 2013, which was hosted by the World Councel of Churches at its conference in Switzerland in December 2014. An English version was completed in February 2014 and was presented in the European Parliament in Strasbourg at the end of February, in the Palace of Nations in Geneva in November 2014 and in Washington D.C. in June 2015. In the United States the English version is part of the project "Museum of the Palestinian People". Video about the Nakba exhibition.
